Happy New Year 2011!

Happy New Year to you! Can you believe it's 2011 already? Hope you rang in the New Year in style last night. As for us, we braved the cold (LA standards) and made the drive down to Long Beach to watch the fireworks over the Queen Mary.

I wasn't able to get my act together before Christmas to send out Christmas cards this year, but I did manage to make and send out New Year's cards! I found a nice photo we took on Christmas Day, photoshopped it a bit to make it look like a vintage polaroid, and put the whole thing together in Illustrator. We got them printed out as 4"x6" pictures at Costco, and after trimming them down to the appropriate polaroid size (3.5" x 4.25" apparently), we were good to go! I paired them with some luxe pale gold envelopes for a festive touch.
