Happy Halloween!

It's hard not to get excited about Halloween when you work with kids. This whole week, we've been decorating the classroom with spiderwebs, having mummy-wrapping contests, eating "Boo-Goo" (ice cream) with "mummy toes" (marshmallows) and "spider fangs" (caramel syrup), face-painting, and getting our spooky on!

I spied this awesome pumpkin carving tutorial over at Design*Sponge and convinced Dean to help me carve it (what a trooper). We searched for the perfect pumpkin, found a stamp-carving set over at Michaels, and spent Saturday night whittling out this little guy. We now have a beautiful fall decoration for our porch, and we can keep it up after tonight too!
